Episode Description
Audio Recording for Beginners: Where To Start - Bandlab: great starter tool and recording program on the internet, for phone/laptop with $0 money - Teaching you what I know best: ProTools - There's other DAWS that work great: Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Studio One, Cubase, even Reaper - Most of what I cover still applies to other DAWs, except there's differences in functioning in other programs - In the future, I may cover other DAWs which will be an addition to the course - Do not recommend Adobe Audition/FL Studio/ - Recommendations that I have/had owned and recorded/mixed with/from - These are recommendations to immediately get started, not necessarily to mix/master with - This is for the artist that wants to DIY, or wants the know-how of becoming a better performing artist in the booth, or both - All info is good to know when dealing with an engineer and speaking the language/better communication or engineering
